The tour leads through the legendary, cold, dark and mysterious Roman well with spiral stairs.

The tour also includes a tour of the former powder room (powder storage) and bunkers from the 20th century. Every corner has its own story, from the army and strategic plans to legends and urban myths.

Practical information

Wear comfortable shoes, the movement is on stairs and uneven underground. Layered clothing is recommended because it is in underground areas colder and wetter.

Plan and Organization

The gathering is at the entrance to the fortress, most often at the Monument of Gratitude to France.

The tour lasts about 2 to 2.5 hours and includes a visit to the Roman well, the powder room, the military bunker and other underground corridors protected under the name "Underground Belgrade".
