
Hiking on Bjelasica leads through beech and conifer forests, past mountain lakes and streams, to peaks and ridges from which wide and peaceful vistas open up.
The trails of Bjelasica pass through various landscapes, from forests and meadows to more open areas with views of the surrounding mountain massifs. Walking is pleasant and gradual, without sudden ascents, which allows you to fully enjoy nature and the rhythm of movement.
This mountain is known for its gentle terrain and spaciousness, so hiking here brings a feeling of freedom, silence and being in nature without the effort that more demanding mountains require.
Not recommended for people with injuries, health restrictions or disabilities, as well as people who have a greater fear of heights
Good hiking is recommended shoes, layered clothes (at higher altitudes, wind and weather changes are possible), at least 1.5–2 L of water, a snack.
The mountain is also suitable for recreationists and does not require greater physical fitness.
Departure is most often organized from the town of Kolašin or other access points by agreement. The price of an organized tour with a guide is €60 per person for departure from the tourist base.
